Today we wish our good friend Josh Eppard a very happy 32nd birthday! Josh is the flavor and groove behind Coheed’s earlier work, not to mention that haunting “Coheed theme song” we all love so much. When he left the band in 2006 due to personal issues with illness and addiction, he began a journey of recovery and growth that has resulted in some of the most stunning and inspiring work of his career. During this time Josh released his second full-length album Sick Kids under his hip-hop project Weerd Science and toured extensively. He also joined, recorded, and toured with pop-punk outfit Terrible Things on Warped Tour 2010 and 2011. Now with Josh’s recent return to Coheed, a new era has begun, and we of the Coheed universe congratulate his success and wish him the best! <3
